Keep Playing Hard To Get

Everyone plays hard to get. Men and women seem to think that this tactic is the best way to get what they want. I mean, everyone wants what they can’t have, right?

Now, science has proved that that is actually the right way to go. A series of four studies, which were published in the European Journal of Personality, stated that women and men are attracted to potential partners who play hard to get.

In fact, this study even proved that playing hard to get could even help you attract a “high-quality partner with maximum potential for long-term commitment”. Playing hard to get also works better if both parties (the guy and the girl) are playing coy.

Women benefit from this strategy because it allows women to test guys out, and men benefit from playing hard to get by displaying “minimum availability”, or being not too hard yet not to easy to get, because this is what attracts us women more.
