Why You Should Monitor Your Guy's Flossing

No one really wants to be a nagging girlfriend. The last thing you want is for your guy to say "Who are you my mother?" when you’re telling him to do basic things that he should know to do himself.

However, it may be important for you to check up on your guy’s dental hygiene. Not just for obvious reasons, but there could be some correlation between your guys sex drive and whether or not he’s flossing.

I know, it’s strange, but new research is saying that guys who don’t floss are way more likely to have impotence issues. A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has found that bleeding gums may be a major warning sign of erectile dysfunction.

How, you ask? Basically, when a guy has less than healthy gums, the bacteria in his mouth can enter his bloodstream and cause arteries to narrow and harden. When a guy’s blood vessels harden, his blood flow is disturbed, leading to difficulty achieving an erection.

This may be the one thing the both of you don’t mind nagging him about.
