This New App Will Handle All The Dirty Work Of Your Breakup For You

Want to find yourself a boyfriend or a girlfriend? There's an app for that.

Want to break up with your boyfriend or your girlfriend? Well, now there's an app for that, too.

Binder, available for iOS and Android phones, takes its cues from Tinder.

However, instead of swiping right to approve a potential match, you'll swipe right to dump your SO on his or her ass.

Sometimes, words just get in the way.

The user-friendly (but emotionally not-so-friendly) app requires the heartbreaker to enter the gender, name and phone number of his or her future ex.

You can also choose from a list of reasons for the breakup (no more of that “It's not you, it's me” bullsh*t), and when you've finished, swipe right: relationship over.

The dumpee will receive a text message that reads,

Hey _____, it's Binder, the app for dumping people. Your (now) ex says '[enter excuse for breakup here].' Sorry, you're binned. www.go-binder.com.

They'll also receive a pre-recorded phone call, relaying the details of the breakup in a laughable, but also horrible, Scottish accent.

Occasionally, the Scottish voice sings the breakup, and that's just plain funny.

The app seems to be a sort of promotional tool for Scottish beer company Tennent's, but I have no doubt people will take it seriously and actually break up with their significant others through the app.

Honestly, if I were to be dumped, I'd much rather a random Scottish dude deliver the news through a cheery song than a face-to-face tear fest.

But, that's just me.
