The aughts are back. That’s hot — and the same could be said for Paris Hilton’s House of Y2K. Along with shopping app Klarna, the Simple Life star hosted a VIP night at an interactive 2000s-themed pop-up in LA that was absolutely dripping in nostalgia.

HAPPYMONDAY

Before it opened to fans on Friday, Feb. 24, Hilton invited celebs and influencers to check out the Insta-worthy experience. Seeing memorabilia from Hilton’s collection, like blinged out flip phones and fragrances, really brought me back to the ‘00s.

Here’s everything you missed:

The Decor

The minute you walk into the House of Y2K, you’re greeted with tons of nostalgic 2000s toys like a Nintendo GameCube, HitClips, and a Barbie Photo Designer Digital Camera. It was a major throwback for anyone who grew up in the late ‘90s and early aughts.

The Swag

Each guest got to open a Y2K-themed locker, which had a swag bag inside. Every holographic bag came with an instant camera, scrunchie, and Tamagotchi (which I would argue are more ‘90s than Y2K, but I’m still obsessed).

The Bling

The immersive experiences included a makeup and bling station, where you could either get a glitter lewk by MUA Nick Metos or one of your personal items blinged out by Bling’d Up, who works with Hilton to bedazzle her own collection. I chose to add some sparkles to my new Tamagotchi.

The Guests

So many celebs and influencers showed up to support Hilton, including her mother, Kathy Hilton, alongside Kris Jenner. Ashley Park from Emily in Paris also stopped by, telling Elite Daily she was a “rocking the middle part” from the 2000s.

The Merch

On display: Hilton’s new tracksuit collab with Klarna. The That’s Smooth velour Y2K tracksuit ($225) is available for purchase online for anyone who wasn’t able to make it out to the experience.

The Moment

Hilton is not only a star, but the sweetest celeb you’ll ever meet. She took time to talk to each person at the event, and even revealed her fave Y2K trend to Elite Daily. “Anything sparkly,” she says, “I love things that are bedazzled.” She also wore a bedazzled dress inspired by the one she wore to her 21st birthday party.
