Taylor Swift’s Bejeweled EMAs Dress Was So Bold

She made the whole red carpet shimmer.

Proving that she does “polish up real nice,” Taylor Swift walked the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards in a bold dress that was seriously *bejeweled*. Not only was the ‘fit almost completely sheer, but the Midnights singer was swagged out in sparkling accessories.

For her first EMAs appearance since 2012, Swift wore a David Koma gown, peep-toe slingback pumps, and a dazzling array of earrings.

Despite the numerous gemstones making up the patchwork-style skirt of her gown, Swift’s look didn’t offer her much coverage. In fact, aside from a blocked zipper, the back of her dress left her derrière quite exposed.

According to Swift’s stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, the “Lavender Haze” singer wore seven Repossi and Anita Ko ear cuffs and a single Djula stud earring on her left ear.

Swift’s right ear was adorned with three ear cuffs designed by Anita Ko and Diane Kordas Jewellery along with a single Margo ear stud.

The bejeweled patchwork of Swift’s gown was broken up by a tuxedo strip that ran from hip to hem on either side.

Swift’s David Koma gown looked great in still red carpet photos, but it was a show-stopping number in motion as well. Just look at the light-catching effect the jewels on the skirt had when Swift took to the EMAs stage.

While the Billboard Hot 100 record-breaker’s ‘fit was on point, the highlight of her evening was probably taking home four EMA awards, including the top prizes for best artist, best video, and best long-form video.
