Dishes like the Frozen Guacamole and the Peanut Butter & Jelly Mac have everyone talking online, but are they worth it when there are so many things to try at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival? To help you plan your day of eating, here’s everything that’s worth a tab on your Sip and Savor Pass, and what’s only worth it for the ‘Gram.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Mac

Where: Nuts About Cheese

This peanut butter and jelly mac is definitely one of the most talked about dishes at the festival, thanks to the brown sugar streusel and strawberry crackle on top. While it’s not the most amazing dish, it is fun and great for peanut butter lovers. The strawberry crackle will also remind you of eating Pop Rocks as a kid, so the nostalgia is real.

Snickers Caramel-Peanut Milk Chocolate Mickey Macaron

Where: Nuts About Cheese

Snickers and Mickey are a winning combo. Not only does this delicious macaron taste like you’re biting into a Snickers bar, but it’s also adorably Mickey-shaped and Insta-worthy too.

Elote Pretzel

Where: Pym Test Kitchen

Since a visit to Avengers Campus is a must when you’re at California Adventure, you’ll definitely want to grab this Elote Pretzel. It’s so delicious with cilantro sprigs, radish, cotija, and flavored crema on top with corn three ways — regular, mini popcorn, and creamed corn.

Frozen Guacamole

Where: Avocado Time

The Frozen Guacamole is a dish for adventurous foodies. The avocado paleta topped with lime crema, pico de gallo, and chile-lime seasoning will really confuse your tastebuds. While it’s definitely not for everyone, anyone who loves to do it for the ‘Gram will want to try this treat on their trip.

Cookies and Cream Donuts

Where: Lamplight Lounge

The Cookies and Cream Donuts are part of the festival, but they’re only available at the Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier, so you’ll need a reservation if you want to order them. The best part about this dish is the vanilla and cookie dipping sauce, which will remind you of the Dunkaroos dip.

Grilled Top Sirloin

Where: Garlic Kissed

An absolute must at the festival is the Grilled Top Sirloin, which is served on a bed of roasted garlic-Gruyère smashed potatoes and black garlic chimichurri. All the flavors were spot on, making this the best savory dish on this list.

Maple Bacon Churro

Where: Churros near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

If you went to Disneyland and didn’t get a churro, did you really go to Disneyland? The festival has quite a few fun churro flavors available, but you cannot miss this Maple Bacon Churro. The maple icing by itself is totally worth it, but the bacon bits on top are also a fun touch.

Rachel Chapman

Old World Aged White Cheddar Lager Soup

Where: Sonoma Terrace

If you’re a fan of Epcot’s popular Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, you’ll love the Old World Aged White Cheddar Lager Soup. The creamy soup is delicious on its own, but it also comes with a tasty toasted fig and prosciutto sandwich you can dunk into your soup.

Mushroom Bao

Where: Lucky Fortune Cookery

The Pacific Wharf always has something tasty to try at California Adventure, and for the festival, Lucky Fortune Cookery has this delicious steamed bao with hoisin-glazed mushrooms, Asian slaw, and jalapeño. You’ll definitely want to make mushroom in your stomach to try it.

Raspberry Spiral Ration

Where: Terran Treats

For an Insta-worthy sweet treat, try this spiral churro next to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! The warm yellow churro with a berry compote on top is not only picture-perfect, but delicious as well.

Rachel Chapman

Carbonara-Garlic Mac & Cheese

Where: Garlic Kissed

The Carbonara-Garlic Mac & Cheese is a festival favorite, so it’s no wonder it’s back this year. You really can’t go wrong with a cheesy mac ‘n’ cheese topped with bacon. It’s a winner every time.

Rachel Chapman

Impossible Gyro

Where: Paradise Garden Grill

If you’re looking for something Impossible to try, the festival has a Gyro-inspired Flatbread and super adorable Petite Avocado Impossible Burger. The Impossible Gyro is a must-try. The seasoned plant-based meat served with dairy-free tzatziki, seasoned tomatoes, cucumber, and onions in pita bread is so light and flavorful.
