She performed her latest single, “On My Way,” from her rom-com Marry Me, as well as her throwback hit “Get Right.” She initially appeared on stage standing next to an “Equality” banner.

Before her medley of hits, the performance opened up with a classic drag ballroom, featuring several RuPaul’s Drag Race alums and even more beloved drag queens. First, though, Pose actor Billy Porter announced the ball category: icon.

Then the queens strutted across the stage in their best Lopez-inspired looks. A few wore outfits that recently appeared during a Lopez-themed Drag Race episode. This included Kerri Colby, who came out wearing Lopez’s iconic green Versace dress.

No Lopez retrospective is complete without her opening look at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Mariah Balenciaga recreated her iconic metallic bodysuit and pose.

Morgan McMichaels stepped out in Lopez’s 2021 floral number she wore in August at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Venice. McMichaels later shared on Instagram that her look is Lopez’s real garment. Wow!

Melissa Befierce, a Los Angeles drag queen legend, impressively dressed as two icons: Lopez and Selena Quintanilla. Lopez played the late singer in a 1997 biopic, which fittingly celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 21.

There’s also Laganja Estranja, who shared on her IG Story that she pole-danced during Lopez’s performance...in a Hustlers look, no less. She later shared a red carpet photo to her IG grid.

Something tells me it’s only a matter of time before a drag queen impressively recreates one of Lopez’s original looks from the iHeartRadio Music Awards. I simply can’t wait to see it.
