They might be the GOAT of couples pics?
Since getting together in 2015, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have shared many, many cute moments together (and almost as many sweet pics). Here’s a look at some of their greatest pics so far... because for this duo, the best is definitely yet to come.
In a 2019 Allure cover story, Serena explained how she fell for Alexis. “Oprah said, ‘Never let anyone dim your light.’ That really stuck with me. Alexis doesn’t dim my light. He doesn’t try to dim my light. He puts me in the light, even if I don’t want to be. He pushes me to further points I never thought about. It always was something that I could see in some relationships — my light would be dimmer. Now I feel like I can shine really bright and still do everything that I want to do,” she said.
Serena, Alexis, and Olympia make for an adorable trio, and the couple has spoken about what it’s like to be parents with such demanding careers.
The two regularly supports each other, on and off the court. Back in 2021, Alexis actually attended Serena’s Australian Open game wearing a T-shirt dedicated to his wife’s impressive career. “GREATEST FEMALE ATHLETE,” the shirt read in all-caps, next to a photo of Serena. Note: the word “female” was crossed out, as it should be.
Then, on Aug. 29, Alexis only agreed to record a video for ESPN’s Twitter if they promised to cover more women’s sports. He said in the clip, “I'm recording this for ESPN because they promised me they are going to cover more women's sports. Congratulations, Serena. You changed the world. This is just the start.”
Alexis isn’t the only one to gush over his partner. During a 2021 Q&A with Bumble, Serena opened up about their marriage. "Marriage is not bliss, but it can be if you work at it, she explained.
