The wait is finally over; Euphoria Season 2 returned. In classic Euphoria fashion, the first episode of the new season was filled with the stylish outfits and intense beauty looks you’ve come to know and love from the show. (If you haven’t watched the first episode, fair warning for potential spoilers, so read on at your own risk.)

To kick off the show’s return, the high schoolers gathered at a New Year’s Eve party, and everyone from Cassie to Rue (to a new character), pulled out stunning Season 2, Episode 1 fashion and beauty looks. Let’s recap some of our faves, shall we?

Season 2 introduced a new character to the series: Faye. While fans don’t know much about her yet, she made a strong and eye-catching fashion and beauty impression with super glossy lips and trendy, cropped anime top.

Cassie kept things soft and dewy for her rollercoaster of a night. However, she dressed up the simple and straightforward look with negative-space wings on her outer eye corners, created with little, sequined beads.

Lexi stepped out in a look that has become quintessentially her: a long-sleeved, polka-dot corset top and red pants. It’s both a low-key and classic ‘fit. However, her makeup had quite a bit going on with blushy, highlighted cheeks and multi-color, sparkling eyeshadow.

For NYE, Maddy went all out with the glitz. She painted her eyelids with a sparkling silver shadow and topped it all off with sharp, thick eyeliner wings. Her look also featured cut-outs, a ‘60s-style, mod dress, and opera-length gloves.

Jules also chose a graphic, ‘90s look. The Claire Danes look-alike had on a grungy slip dress with tassel appliqué. She also drew spider-like details on her eyelids that hit slightly onto the bridge of her nose.

Although she was barely in this first episode, Kat broke out the colors for the season-opener party. She matched her green, sparkling eyeshadow as well as her dark lip to her multi-patterned dress.

Rue generally stays away from makeup, and NYE was no different. Zendaya’s character went bare-faced for her emotional return to the screen and only wore a black, patterned T-shirt and jeans.
