It’s officially summer and Starbucks kicked off the season with two new pineapple-flavored Refreshers on June 21. With so many drinks to choose from, I tried six of the Refreshers and ranked them from worst to best to get you summer ready with your drink in hand. Courtesy of Starbucks

6. Mango Dragonfruit Refresher

The Mango Dragonfruit Refresher lacked the fruity punch I was looking for. If you like fruit-infused water, this comes pretty close. Courtesy of Starbucks

5. Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher

This drink is passionfruit-forward with a hint of pineapple. Personally, I found it intensely sweet and lacking the piquantness that would’ve balanced it out. I will say that the fresh pineapple chunks were a nice touch. Courtesy of Starbucks

4. Dragon Drink

I can’t put my finger on it but it doesn’t taste like dragon fruit nor mango, both of which are shaken up in the drink with coconut milk. It’s giving cotton candy meets Skittles. Each bite of the dragon fruit chunk felt like eating a piece of candy. Courtesy of Starbucks

3. Paradise Drink

Take the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher and add coconut milk, it’s game-changing. The Paradise Drink will transport you to sandy beaches with palm trees. The only thing I would add is more coconut, in every shape and form. Courtesy of Starbucks

2. Strawberry Açaí Refresher

The light, almost floral notes of the Strawberry Açaí Refresher will keep you going back for more sips. I’d get a Venti if I were you because this drink will go fast in the summer heat. It’s a close runner-up to the best Refresher on the list. Courtesy of Starbucks

1. Pink Drink

Pretty in pink and tastes just as good as it looks. The Pink Drink was a winner from first sip. The coconut milk version of the Strawberry Açaí Refresher has been a fan favorite since its official 2017 debut, and I can see why. Courtesy of Starbucks
