Though their love story was a little more on the tumultuous side, Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed also got hitched on Love Is Blind. Per Cheat Sheet, Matt told co-star Bartise Bowden in an earlier episode, "There's no f*cking way I can marry this woman," but that’s exactly what happened.
Some fans worried about their relationship, claiming Colleen’s body language during the reunion hinted at abuse, but Matt and Colleen addressed the controversy on Nov. 16. “We know who we are and we love each other to death and we’re just continuing to do our thing,” Matt said.
Bartise and Nancy Rodriguez broke up on their wedding day — a decision most fans saw coming. Bartise said “I do not,” and explained his choice to Us Weekly, “That last moment … where I’ve realized this was the sweetest girl in the world, I was like, ‘How can I even thinking about saying I do not right now?”
He continued, “So, that sent me into a spiral. I had to make an informed decision based on not just the last two great weeks that we had, but the whole process together. And ultimately that led me to my, ‘I do not.’”
After Bartise’s “I do not,” Nancy was comforted by her inner circle — TBH, this was probably the sweetest moment from her wedding.
“You have disrespected me, you have insulted me, you have critiqued me, and for what it is worth, you have single-handedly shattered my self-confidence,” Zanab told him at the wedding. "The messed up thing is that I know I love you, but everything in me and the logical part of my brain tells me that love shouldn't feel this way. Love shouldn't hurt like this. I can't marry you."
