Addison Rae recently starred in her first-ever movie, He’s All That, and beyond recreating a classic ‘90s rom-com, she was dressed to the nines throughout in outfits that are the perfect mix of modern and Y2K retro.

He’s All That is a gender-swapped retelling of the 1999 movie She’s All That... which is essentially a retelling of My Fair Lady... which is essentially a retelling of Pygmalion. The base plot for all of these is that someone takes a bet that they can transform an “unpopular” person into someone with class. Naturally, the two main characters fall in love. In this iteration, Addison Rae plays Padgett Sawyer, a TikTok influencer (shocker) who specializes in makeovers. She bets that she can transform her less-than-cool classmate into a prom king.

As for the He’s All That fashion, Denise Wingate, costume designer for She’s All That, made a return. And while there are plenty of modern, TikTok-esque styles present, there are also a ton of ‘90s looks as a nod to the original film. Check out Addison Rae’s best He’s All That’ outfits ahead.

To open the movie, Rae wears a funky patterned, knit dress, a style that’s only getting bigger for fall 2021. It also sets the tone for Padgett’s mostly soft pink and white fashion color palette.

TBH, it wouldn’t be Addison Rae if there wasn’t a tie-dye set in the mix. Comfort is a necessity when it comes to a breakup, and it doesn’t get more trendy and cozy than this coordinating set.

Totally befitting of her L.A. high school, Rae’s third look of the movie features a tropical-looking dress with toucans and vibrant, yellow flowers. The matching cardigan adds a totally ‘90s touch but plays into the cardigan’s major fall moment.

Despite claiming to have only ridden a pony once before, Padgett looks like a full-on dressage rider atop this horse. From her riding boots to her mauve, tweed blazer, it’s hard to believe she can’t land the dismount. Expect to see more blazers like this dotting your Instagram feeds come fall.

In a world of monochromatic swimwear, Rae made waves in this maximalist, embroidered bikini and matching wrap. It’s playful as ever, and the sweetheart neckline makes it 100% adorable.

Between the heavily sequined fringe, feathered shoulders, and sparkling headband, Padgett’s ‘20s-themed flapper dress is the pinnacle of perfection. And, it was actually made by Wingate for the film.

In case you forgot TikTok was a major part of this movie, allow another matching sweatsuit to jog your memory. Despite looking like it could be your grandmother’s fabric, the subtle, pastel print looks super cute on Rae.

As a nod to the first movie, Padgett’s prom dress is red; however, it’s much more modern. The neckline plunges toward the middle of the bodice, and there’s a thigh-high slit, along with some intricate beading.
