Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds2 Pro launch on Aug. 26. It’s the most immersive audio experience from Samsung yet with a new compact design and enhanced audio. Here's how it compares to the older generation Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Pro.
All three earbuds have great sound systems. They are all equipped with a two-way speaker, woofer for bass, and tweeter for treble. The Buds2 Pro have a 10mm woofer and 5.3mm tweeter. Plus, 24bit hi-fi.
You’ll be tuning out the most noise and getting the most out of your sounds with the new Buds2 Pro’s Enhanced 360 Audio and Intelligent Active Noise Cancelation. Compared to the Buds2 and Buds Pro that have standard 360 Audio and ANC.
The Buds2 Pro have the latest version of Bluetooth 5.3 for wider range and connectivity while you move about. On the other hand, Buds2 have Bluetooth 5.2 and Buds Pro have Bluetooth 5.0.
Notably one of the most significant changes to the new model, the Buds2 Pro are 15% smaller than the Buds2. The new compact design also features improved air vent and wind shield to allow more air to move through while maintaining sound quality.
It’s important to note that the earbuds are not fully water resistant and are not recommended for use in water. Having said that, the Buds2 Pro are partially water resistant but there’s a limit for how much water they can handle.
As with most new releases, the Buds2 Pro have the improvements in almost every area, but if you want a lower price tag and more colors, you could also consider their predecessor: Buds2.
