IHOP’s Gru Cold Brew And Banana Pudding Pancakes Have Me Stanning The Minions

Ahead of the release of the Despicable Me franchise's fifth movie, Minions: The Rise of Gru, on July 1, IHOP launched eight limited-time food and drink items inspired by the Minions, which will be available from June 21 until Aug. 21. And yeah, there are plenty of bananas.

Ba-Ba-Banana Pudding Pancakes

The loyal followers of Gru are huge banana lovers. They would totall dig these banana-filled buttermilk pancakes topped with creamy banana pudding and banana slices, Nilla wafer cookie pieces, whipped topping, and sprinkles.

Cinna-Minions

These bite-sized donut holes are coated in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with cream cheese icing. As the Minions would say, “Para tú!”

Gru’s Evil Steakburger

To have the energy of a supervillain like Gru, feast on this Black Angus Steakburger stacked with sautéed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onion, hickory-smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, IHOP's Sharp Cheddar Mac & Cheese, and mayo — all between a brioche bun.

What I imagine the Gru family would be ordering. The spread includes a basket of 20 pieces of Cinna-Minions, side of cream cheese icing, four servings of scrambled eggs and hash browns, eight hickory-smoked bacon strips, and eight pork sausage links.
