Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral was held on Sept. 19, and there were many familiar faces in the attendance, like Harry and Meghan, the Bidens, and yup — even the queen’s corgis.

Though it was a sad affair, the photos of the queen’s corgis attending her funeral are so heart warming.

The pups were comforted by Prince Andrew, who adopted the corgis after his mother’s death, according to NPR.

The pups, named Muick and Sandy, probably didn’t understand what was going on — but they looked happy to be there.

The queen was well-known for her love of corgis, and developed her soft spot for the breed at the age of 7, according to Buzzfeed News.

After being gifted her first corgi on her 18th birthday, the queen continued to expand her corgi empire all the way up to her on the 95th birthday in 2021.

It was a thrilling day for one of the queen’s corgis, and a tiring day for the other.

The funeral quickly turned into nap time, when one of the corgis needed a break after all the excitement of the day.

Both pups eventually ended up sprawling out on the ground as they waited to say goodbye to the queen.
