These Photos From Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Ball Are Out Of This World

After two years of postponements, Lady Gaga finally embarked on her highly-anticipated Chromatica Ball tour, which is in support of her 2020 album, Chromatica. These photos from the first show prove life on Planet Chromatica was worth the long journey here.

Lady Gaga kicked off her tour at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany on July 17. According to People, around 54,000 fans attended the sold-out concert.

The Chromatica Ball is Gaga’s first tour in four years. The last time she toured was in support for her 2016 Joanne album, and the tour ran from August 2017 to February 2018.

Gaga first announced her Chromatica Ball in March 2020, and it was supposed to begin that summer; however, due to the pandemic, it was pushed back to 2021 and then again to 2022.

Gaga performed 20 songs for fans in Germany. According to a press release, her Chromatica Ball setlist included classic hits like “Bad Romance,” “Poker Face,” and “Shallow,” as well as songs off Chromatica like “Rain On Me,” “Stupid Love,” and “Alice.”

Gaga will finish the European leg of her tour in London, England, on July 30. Next, she’ll perform in North America from Aug. 6 through Aug. 28.

The star will then head to Japan for back-to-back concerts at the Belluna Dome on Sept. 3 and Sept. 4 before returning to the United States for another string of concerts. Gaga stays booked and busy!
