Twitter Shaded The New Bachelor Host For Giving Chris Harrison Vibes

He left a strong first impression, to say the least.

Jesse Palmer’s reign as the new host of The Bachelor has only just begun, but people already have a lot of feelings about him. These tweets about Palmer hosting The Bachelor are equal parts hilarious and brutally honest. Hey, at least it’s taking some heat off Clayton Echard!

From Palmer’s first voiceover, it was clear who the Bachelor producers were aiming to have Palmer emulate: Chris Harrison. And there are plenty of mixed feelings about it.

You’d be hard-pressed to find any notable differences between Palmer and his dulcet-toned predecessor when it comes to their hosting skills — at least, based on initial impressions.

Seriously though, did Palmer hire a voice coach for this?

Apparently, he even copied some of Harrison’s opening monologue from back in 2002.

It seems like Palmer is doing a decent job imitating the controversial host who came before him.

People also started to compare Palmer and Echard who, to be fair, do have an eerily similar vibe.

Seeing these two in the same room (or driveway) together was definitely something. Is it just me or do they have the exact same smile?!

Although Palmer did an admirable job for his first time hosting The Bachelor, the editing of his lines could have used a little fine-tuning.

This deserves an honorable mention.

Here’s to a season full of (good-natured) Jesse Palmer roasts — and Clayton Echard finding love, obvi.
