Ted Lasso Season 3 is delayed in arriving on Apple TV+, but the cast still showed up at the 2022 Emmys red carpet. Though fans love everyone in the cast, Brett Goldstein and Phil Dunster’s bromance for the cameras had everyone nominating them for best couple.

Ted Lasso’s two ego-centric footy stars, Roy Kent and Jamie Tartt, have a love-hate relationship (and a love triangle going with Keeley as well). But the two stars, Brett Goldstein and Phil Dunster, are the best of friends off-screen.

Of the two, Brett Goldstein was the one who took home a trophy (and stayed on-brand by swearing), but he shouted out to the whole cast, saying the hardest part was not just watching his co-stars and marveling how good they all are.

Even though Dunster might not have an Emmy, he’s definitely taking home one-half of the award for “America’s Favorite Boyfriends.”

The two actors on the 2022 Emmys red carpet, practically acting like boyfriends, caused the internet to explode (as did my ovaries).

The two seemed so happy to be there together, cracking each other up as the cameras clicked away.

By the time the two were done, they were so busy laughing that there was no posing for the camera.

The *face* Brett Goldstein is giving Dunster here. Fan fiction writers, get to work.

Ted Lasso Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Apple TV+. Season 3, expected to be the show’s final season, will hopefully arrive before the end of 2022.
