The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton continued her reign as fashion queen during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebration on Friday, June 3. For the National Service of Thanksgiving, the Duchess wore a shade you’re bound to see on all your fave style icons this summer — yellow.

Buttercream is a consistently trending color, and Middleton wore it with a dash of lemon. The queen-to-be arrived at Saint Paul's Cathedral for the National Service of Thanksgiving for The Queen's reign wearing a buttery yellow Emilia Wickstead coatdress and a Philip Treacy hat.

Middleton accessorized the look with lovely pearl-drop earrings, a beige clutch, creamy leather gloves, and neutral, cool-toned suede pumps.

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle also looked gorgeous in an all-white ensemble featuring a Dior belted coat dress with a large collar. The slouchy gloves, matching pumps, and understated hat created a breezy but elegant vibe. Ten out of 10. No notes.

This is a look that works from every angle, as seen in this overhead shot inside Saint Paul’s Cathedral. The trench coat-inspired detailing on the Duchess’s coatdress read old Hollywood glamour, and I am here for it.

Also in attendance was Zara Tindall, the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal. She arrived at the cathedral with her husband, Mike Tindall, wearing a Laura Green coatdress in a very trendy, nearly-pastel neon shade of fuchsia.

Tindall paired the pastel neon coatdress with a purple hat, a delicate lilac Aspinal of London clutch, and lilac pumps.

Princess Eugenie also made an appearance. Like the Duchess of Cambridge, she also opted for Emilia Wickstead. Her bright orange coatdress was also a nearly-neon pastel, a shade that’s definitely having a moment right now.

Unlike her royal relatives, Princess Eugenie decided not to match her accessories to her clothes. Instead, she wore a black pillbox-style hat, carried a black leather clutch, and wore black slingback heels.

Princess Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, wore a more subtle color. She arrived in a French blue coatdress adorned with pearl buttons and belted at the waist.

Beatrice’s styling also kept things within the same subtle color family. Her tasteful hat was a slightly deeper shade of blue, while her clutch bag and heels were both in shades of cool-toned neutrals.
