Team USA bounded into Beijing National Stadium to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance” on Feb. 4 during the 2022 Winter Olympic opening ceremony, and people on Twitter couldn’t help but wonder about the choice of what’s also known as “The Graduation Song.”

There were no caps and gowns, but viewers were still puzzled by this specific song choice. At least they seem excited?

Only the classics for the Olympics.

There were *choices* made.

The very recognizable tune was also apparently misnamed.

Not bad, just weird...

Oh, it also played more than once.

Not here for the repeats.

Are we at the Winter Olympics or in a high school gymnasium?

Not sure anyone will be asking for this playlist.

This mix gave people a lot of feelings.

It also gave people some unwelcome band flashbacks.

Despite the odd music choices, the opening ceremony officially kicked off the 2022 Winter Olympics. TBH, it didn’t seem to damper any of the fun Team USA had as they were lead by flag bearers speed skater Brittany Bowe and curler John Shuster.

Congrats, grads!
