Here Are The Best Reactions To *That* Bachelor Elimination

Just in time for Valentine's Day.

It’s been a long time coming, but finally, Clayton Echard sent Shanae Ankney home on The Bachelor. After weeks of fake tears, after-party crashing, and way too much shrimp talk, fans on Twitter had a lot to say about Shanae’s elimination.

In order to get to the root of all the drama, Clayton invited Shanae on a two-on-one date with fellow contestant Genevieve Parisi.

Shanae told Clayton that Genevieve is an actress, leading Clayton to ask Genevieve if that was true.

Fans thought Shanae was being a bit of a hypocrite accusing Genevieve of acting, since she proudly called herself one in a previous episode.

But still, Clayton questioned Genevieve, and Bachelor Nation couldn’t believe it.

After Genevieve promised Clayton that she’s not an actor, Clayton took a moment to think and reached a moment of clarity: He needed to send Shanae home.

As soon as Clayton told Shanae he was sending her home, Bachelor Nation started celebrating.

To say Shanae was upset was a bit of an understatement. She bemoaned the fact that she’s still single.

Shanae even cursed Clayton out from a boat at the bottom of Niagara Falls.

As soon as the other women heard that Shanae had been eliminated, they celebrated in a big way.

They rejoiced over the fact that they’ll never again have to deal with shrimp-gate ever again.

Gabby Windey stole the show by going *hard* in celebrating Shanae’s elimination.

Even with all the celebration, though, some fans are worried that Shanae won’t stay away for too long.

It was not lost on the fandom that this all went down on Valentine’s Day.

Fans will just have to wait and see if Shanae brings even more drama to the beaches of Bachelor in Paradise.
