It’s not a great look to beg two women to stick around and meet your parents, only to break up with them right after. But that’s exactly what Clayton Echard did with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia in the Bachelor finale, and fans have some thoughts — and memes — about it.

First of all, fans couldn’t handle the fact that Clayton broke up with Gabby and Rachel just *days* after he said either of them could be his wife.
Clayton also decided to break up with Rachel and Gabby *at the same time,* which fans found extremely disrespectful.
The double break-up *really* got fans riled up.
But Gabby had no time for any of Clayton’s nonsense, and she held nothing back.
Gabby called Clayton out for keeping her and Rachel around just to break up with them.
Gabby united all of Bachelor Nation in their love for her.
Thanks to the picture-in-picture view of the audience while Gabby voiced her feelings to Clayton, the audience got to see all the pride and love Gabby’s grandpa has for her.
Gabby made Bachelor franchise history when she told Clayton she could walk herself out.
Rachel, on the other hand, had a much more tearful goodbye with Clayton after he broke up with her.
Meanwhile, Clayton remained pretty stoic throughout the breakup.
Rachel’s dad was *not* pleased watching how hurt Rachel was by her break-up.
After all the heartbreak, fans had an idea to make Gabby and Rachel joint Bachelorettes and give them the true love stories they deserve.
