Ever since "Don't Let Me Get Me" was released just 16 short years ago, I have been a diehard P!nk fan. "Don't Let Me Get Me" taught me it's OK not to be perfect. "Get The Party Started" still gets me more pumped to go out than any other song out there. "Stupid Girls" encouraged me to have some substance. "Who Knew" taught me to cherish every moment with my loved ones. And it turns out, her infinite wisdom goes beyond just her music. Want proof? P!nk's dating advice for her daughter is all the proof you need. Wiser words have never been spoken.

The 38-year-old superstar, who also happens to be my idol, is on the cover of Cosmopolitan's January 2018 issue. Inside the magazine, she gives some pretty amazing dating advice to her 6-year-old daughter with husband Carey Hart, Willow Sage Hart. P!nk revealed in the Cosmo issue that, when Willow asked her a dating-related question, she gave her daughter the best piece of advice she could come up with. And you know what? It's actually so, so true:

She said to me the other day, 'How many boys can I have at once?' And I said, 'Excuse me?' I said, 'Probably none of them because they won't deserve you. They have to be kind, respectful, they have to be chivalrous, they have to be good to their moms, they have to be good looking, they have to be funny.'"

OK, I have a lot to say here.

First and foremost, how baller is her daughter for 1) having a name as cool and unique as "Willow Sage Hart" and 2) casually just wondering at the ripe age of 6 years old, "How many boys can I have at once?"

Now, this amazing advice isn't the only bomb advice the "What About Us?" singer has graced us with recently. At the 2017 MTV VMAs, while accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, P!nk shared a personal story of a conversation she had with her daughter on the importance of loving yourself. And TBH, this isn't just an important lesson for Willow. This is something we should all remember. At the start of her speech, she said,

Recently, I was driving my daughter to school and she said to me, out of the blue, ‘Mama?’ I said, ‘Yes, baby?’ She said, ‘I’m the ugliest girl I know.’ And I said, ‘Huh?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I look like a boy with long hair.’ And my brain went to, ‘Oh my god, you’re six. Why? Where is this coming from? Who said this? Can I kick a 6-year-old’s ass, like what?’

P!nk didn't just give her daughter some blanket response about how she should just love herself, however. No, the singer went in DEEP to prove to Willow how important it is that she stay true to herself:

I went home and I made a Powerpoint presentation for her. And in that presentation were androgynous rockstars and artists that live their truth, are probably made fun of every day of their life, and carry on, wave their flag and inspire the rest of us. And these are artists like Michael Jackson and David Bowie and Freddie Mercury and Annie Lennox and Prince and Janis Joplin and George Michael, Elton John, so many artists — her eyes glazed over. But then I said, ‘You know, I really want to know why you feel this way about yourself.’ And she said, ‘Well I look like a boy,’ and I said, ‘Well what do you think I look like?’ And she said, ‘Well you’re beautiful.’ And I was like, ‘Well, thanks. But when people make fun of me, that’s what they use. They say I look like a boy or I’m too masculine or I have too many opinions, my body is too strong.’

P!nk then used herself as an example, telling Willow that she hasn't changed herself to fit anyone else's vision of what she should be — and she doesn't plan to:

I said to her, ‘Do you see me growing my hair?’ She said, ‘No, mama.’ I said, ‘Do you see me changing my body?’ ‘No, mama.’ ‘Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?’ ‘No, mama.’ ‘Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?’ ‘Yes, Mama.’ ‘OK! So, baby girl. We don’t change. We take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl. And we help other people to change so they can see more kinds of beauty.’

So, the bottom line here? Well, there are two. The first is that, when it comes to dating, we should all heed P!nk's advice: You have to find a partner who is good to both you and their mother, chivalrous, and respectful. The second is that, honestly, don't we all want P!nk to be our mom and give us prime advice like this?
