Human 'Hungry Hungry Hippos' Looks Like The Most Fun Game Ever (Video)

by Gillian Fuller

You may remember playing Hungry Hungry Hippos as a kid; it's a classic.

Thanks to Tanner Nielsen, the traditional tabletop game just got a seriously cool upgrade.

But you won't find the 2015 version on the shelves at Toys 'R' Us -- it's more of a do-it-yourself sort of setup.

See, Nielsen's version of the game replaces the plastic hippos with humans.

You'll need to find a big, empty space capable of housing each player, a crap-ton of balloons and one wheelie tray, bucket and bungee cord per player.

You may want to invest in helmets, too; the human version of Hungry Hungry Hippos is about as extreme as it gets.

Instead of explaining the mechanics of the game, I'll just let you see it for yourself in the video up top.

Toymakers, beware: The bar has been raised.
