Twitter Is Losing It Over That Epic 'Game Of Thrones' Reunion

by Adam Silvers

Sunday night, during season six episode four of "Game of Thrones," there was a moment that made the entire world clap their collective hands and shed a few tears in the name of love, family and reunification.

I'm talking, of course, about the epic reunion between Sansa Stark and the back-from-the-dead Lord Commander himself, Jon Snow.

It was almost too good to be true. The horn sounded, the gate at Castle Black opened and, even though we saw Sansa, Brienne of Tarth and Sir Podrick Payne, we still half expected Ramsay Bolton to pop out of nowhere and carry Sansa back to Winterfell, somehow.

That didn't happen, though. Instead, "Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss allowed us a moment of pure joy and warmth.

Sansa and Jon Snow's embrace signified the end -- at least for now -- of her long nightmare, and Twitter is erupting over that realization.

Sunday night, Sansa Stark and Jon Snow reunited, and it felt so good.

The moment brought more than a few people to tears...

...and gave all of us an almost indescribable level of relief and joy.

Pretty much, though.

If this wasn't you last night, I don't think you'll have much to talk about today.

The look on Sansa's face says it all, really.

This Stark reunion was like the final play in the championship game, one you need to watch on repeat.

This being "Game of Thrones," though, you know it was only a matter of time before someone reminded us how f*cked Rickon Stark probably is.

Whatever, this episode was all about Jon and Sansa and how we're all hoping they're on the verge of putting Ramsay Bolton's head on a spike.

I really can't wait for when Jon and Sansa link up with Arya Stark. You know it's coming.
