Britney Spears Is Really Psyched That Her 'Crush' Brad Pitt Is Single

GUYS! BRAD PITT IS NEWLY SINGLE, AND BRITNEY SPEARS IS THIRSTY!

After two years of marriage and 12 years being linked together as a couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie called it quits in September.

They filed for divorce and have now gone on to the asset division phase of their breakup.

There is now also a question of how to proceed with their children, with Brad fighting to maintain joint custody...

It's no secret the 34-year-old singer has always had a soft spot for the recently single Pitt. For years she's made it clear that she has been thirstin' hard over him.

Now's her chance to hop though, and it appears she has every intention of trying to get herself into dat Pitt.

During an interview with Australia's "TODAY," Britney was asked about who her celebrity crush is, and without hesitation she responded,

My first celebrity crush was Brad Pitt. He's single now!

Keep in mind, when asked the same question right before their divorce she admitted on KTU 103.5 FM's "Cubby & Carolina Bermudez,"

It's always been Brad Pitt.

Say what you want about Britney Spears, she is one ham-fisted opportunist and I RESPECT THAT.

Britney Spears has been talking about slipping her way into the Pitt family forever.

Remember that interview she did with Diane Sawyer that was shown in that video? Yeah, sure, back then she just wanted to be their nanny. Right.
